Our dedicated team can perform every step of the fire protection process beginning with the underground utility work to the fire system installation. Jarrett Fire Protection offers a variety of inspections and service repairs depending on the customer’s needs. We care about our customers continued safety and provide after installation care and servicing. We are seeking a skilled Fire Inspection/Service Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring the effectiveness and compliance of our fire suppression systems within commercial kitchens. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of pre-engineered kitchen fire suppression systems, fire extinguishers, and emergency lighting systems.

Requirements

  • Experience in fire system installation and service, specifically with kitchen hood suppression systems.
  • Proficient in the use of power and hand tools.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further technical training in fire protection systems is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

  • Fire Suppression License for Pre-Engineered Commercial Hood Systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed inspections and routine maintenance of pre-engineered kitchen hood suppression systems.
  • Install new fire suppression systems and components in accordance with all state, local, and national codes.
  • Perform repairs on malfunctioning or damaged systems.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repair activities.
  • Ensure all fire suppression equipment meets the required safety standards and operational effectiveness.
  • Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of their systems.
  • Respond to emergency service calls as required.
  • Work collaboratively with the fire protection team to ensure a high standard of service and safety compliance.
