About The Position

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Fire Inspection Sales Representative to join our Commercial & Institutional – Fire Protection Services Team at our Tampa, FL office. CHA Fire Protection Services offers highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions to the most challenging fire protection projects. Our knowledgeable staff manages complex industrial, commercial and design/build fire protection projects, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, ground storage tanks, underground piping, and special hazards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales roles.
  • Strong estimating skills preferred.
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups.
  • A high energy, passionate, and results-oriented team player.
  • Collaborative and highly skillful at building and maintaining effective working relationships throughout the organization.
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to see patterns, be a fast learner/thinker and a good decision maker.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and sound judgement.
  • Committed to continuous improvement; ability to anticipate and be forward thinking.

  • NICET certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Expand the client base of the Inspection and Service practice.
  • Identify, pursue, secure, and maintain high-profile, quality clients within the fire protection market.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for fire sprinklers, fire alarm, fire extinguisher, kitchen hood, and exit lighting inspections.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote company services and expand market reach.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and bid packages in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate project specifications and pricing.
  • Conduct site visits and surveys to evaluate project scope, requirements, and existing system conditions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle and after project completion.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000.
  • Salary is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
