What you’ll do As a Fire Extinguisher & Kitchen Suppression Technician, you will have a unique opportunity to make a significant and meaningful contribution to the success of George A. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience or training in fire protection, kitchen suppression systems, or maintenance work is a bonus — but not required.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, test, service, and recharge portable fire extinguishers to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist with inspection and maintenance of commercial kitchen fire suppression systems.
- Perform routine inspections and document findings accurately after every service visit.
- Help troubleshoot kitchen suppression systems and support basic repairs under supervision.
- Travel to customer sites, delivering professional, customer-focused service.
- Complete inspection reports and maintain service records for internal and regulatory purposes.
