Total Fire Protection is hiring an experienced Fire Extinguisher and Suppression Technician. This position offers competitive compensation with an excellent benefits package. Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections and testing of fire extinguishers, fire suppression, and other fire protection equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions, making necessary repairs and replacements to ensure optimal functionality. Conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the lifespan of fire extinguishers and minimize the risk of failures. Document inspection and service activities accurately, maintaining detailed records of findings, repairs, and recommendations. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of tasks. Stay updated on industry regulations, codes, and best practices to ensure compliance and provide expert guidance to clients. On-call rotation with other technicians to handle emergency service and inspection requests. Qualifications: Proven 2+ years experience with knowledge of fire extinguishers, and kitchen suppression. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Ability to operate a computer, tablet and read electronic blueprints required. Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. NICET or State certification required BuildingReports software experience preferred. ServiceTrade software experience preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on a ladder.
