About The Position
This is technical work in the troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance and repair of fire and rescue services equipment for an assigned location within the Department of Fire Rescue and Emergency Services. Employees in this classification are responsible for administering testing procedures to ensure operational state of readiness; evaluating the condition of equipment, vehicles and/or apparatus according to standard life cycles; and providing recommendations for upgrades/replacements accordingly. Performs related work as directed.
