About The Position
The Fire/EMS Training Captain is responsible for the development and administration of training programs for the Bay County Emergency Services (BCES) System. This role involves coordinating education programs for staff, ensuring compliance with Florida Firefighter Minimum Standards, and overseeing the training of both new and existing personnel. The position requires considerable independent judgment and initiative, reporting directly to the Deputy Chief of Emergency Services.
