About The Position
The Fire Captain Paramedic position is a permanent, full-time role within the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE). The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the arduous Fitness Standard in accordance with Department Policy and will be required to wear respiratory protection equipment, including self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA). The position may involve working nights, weekends, or holidays. The candidate may be selected by resume review, and additional information can be found in the Duty Statement.
