About The Position

M&K Truck Centers of Harrisburg is seeking a motivated, experienced Outside Sales Representative to lead the sales efforts for KME Fire Apparatus within an assigned territory. This role combines traditional outside truck sales with a specialized focus on serving fire departments and emergency services. Requirements

Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience required; outside sales experience strongly preferred.
Experience using various computer software and CRM tools is required.
Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
Comfortable with flexible work hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
Self-motivated with strong organizational and communication skills.
Proficient in preparing sales contracts and understanding credit terms.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience selling fire apparatus is a plus.

Responsibilities

Directly responsible for all KME fire apparatus sales in the assigned territory, including regional accounts, house accounts, and local fire departments.
Develop and pursue new business opportunities to grow overall sales volume and profitability.
Conduct in-person customer sales calls and product demonstrations — both during standard business hours and at evening/weekend meetings (common with volunteer fire departments).
Promote KME Fire Apparatus through flyers, product displays, and community engagement.
Write accurate sales contracts and customer orders in accordance with company policies.
Listen to and resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Achieve assigned sales and profitability goals.
Maintain account standards and provide exceptional post-sale customer service.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to the sales process.
