As a Fire and Water Restoration Technician, you will embody our ‘One Team' mentality, performing assigned services while adhering to PuroClean production guidelines. Your role will involve ensuring that all customer needs are met with kindness and empathy, assisting your team and supervisors with various aspects of restoration work on both residential and commercial job sites. You will also be responsible for maintaining the vehicles, equipment, and assets of the business, taking pride in exceeding customer expectations during their times of need by providing a world-class level of service that distinguishes us from our competitors in the industry. In this position, you will engage in a variety of tasks including water extraction and mitigation, fire and smoke cleaning and restoration, microbial remediation, and mold remediation. You will also handle vandalism, crime scene, and biohazard clean-up, as well as demolition, structural board-up, and site stabilization. Additional responsibilities include carpet cleaning, on-location cleaning, content handling/storage, equipment setup, monitoring, and breakdown. You will oversee field management and supervision of all temporary labor personnel, ensuring a clean and organized appearance of vehicles, equipment, materials, and consumables on job sites and in the warehouse. Managing and maintaining inventories of all equipment, materials, consumables, and tools will also be part of your duties. You will participate in emergency mitigation and on-call rotation, complete necessary paperwork including daily progress reports, moisture logs, safety logs, and diagrams, and provide the highest level of customer service while adhering to all company best practices. Clear communication with office staff, your immediate supervisor, and fellow technicians is essential, along with the flexibility to take on other duties or projects as assigned.
