About The Position

RapidFire Safety & Security is a leading provider of fire life safety and security solutions, earning customer trust by delivering exceptional value through strategic acquisitions, allowing us to drive organic growth in every market through the excellence of our teammates. We are seeking a candidate for a Security/Fire Technician position in Belton. Successful candidate will install wiring, mount equipment for IP CCTV cameras, Access Control, Fire Systems, and Intrusion Systems in the state of Texas. Candidates must be able to work independently and have great customer service skills.

Requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina.
Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations.
Ability to handle multiple projects at once, switching between various tasks quickly.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
Able to climb ladders.
Some out of town travel required. (Always home on weekends)
High school diploma or equivalent; required.
Strong knowledge of technical systems, equipment, and tools.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Technical certification or associate degree in a related field; preferred.

Responsibilities

On-site installation of all products we sell.
Identify and troubleshoot issues or malfunctions in equipment and systems.
Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems.
Conduct tests and calibrations to verify equipment performance and accuracy.
Install, assemble, and dismantle equipment and systems as required.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Document all maintenance and repair activities, including the use of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Collaborate with other team members and departments to resolve technical issues.
Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and technologies to provide effective solutions.
Provide technical support and assistance to customers or end-users.
Perform other duties as assigned.
