About The Position
The Fire and Life Safety Technician is responsible for overseeing the inspection, testing, and maintenance of installed fire protection systems, including fire alarm systems and water-based fire protection systems. This role ensures compliance with hospital policies and local, state, and federal codes, while also conducting inspections and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers, exit lighting, and fire and life safety system components. The technician will perform troubleshooting, predictive and preventive maintenance, and maintain documentation related to fire safety systems.
