About The Position

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled Lead Fire Alarm Installer to join our team for a long-term project. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently or lead a small team, interpret blueprints, and ensure high-quality installations of fire alarm systems.

Requirements

• Fire alarm system installation
• Cable routing and management
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Must have prior experience leading installations and working independently.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with access control and CCTV systems
• Programming experience (a plus but not required)
• Experience with Honeywell and Silent Knight systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead fire alarm installation projects from start to finish.
• Interpret and work from blueprints and technical drawings.
• Supervise and guide helpers during installations.
• Install and route cable for fire alarm systems.
• Collaborate with other trades and project managers to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain safety and compliance with local codes and standards.
