We are seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Service Technicians to join our team. In this role you will need to be familiar with servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing Fire Alarm systems. Responsibilities Service technicians shall respond to scheduled and emergency service requests and perform in-depth trouble shooting, repair and/or replacement of system equipment. Service Technicians will have the ability to program fire alarm systems or have experience with programing low voltage systems including fire alarm, access control, security or CCTV. Frequently resolve problems through research of multiple alternatives. Communicate and effectively interact with other contractors and building owners. Participate in weekly on call rotation. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems programs, schematics, and operational product manuals. Assist customers on site with all questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Effectively communicate project status to management. Complete all appropriate company paperwork as required. Industry related NICET and/or CA State Certification is preferred or obtain within one year of hire. Experience with the following manufacturers: Edwards/EST, Kidde, Notifier, FireLite, Bosch, Silent Knight, DSC, Telguard, and Gamewell/FCI is preferred.
