Fire Alarm & Security Inspector II What you will do Inspectors are responsible for conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Alarm and Security Systems, including similar competitive manufacturers’ product lines. In addition to inspections, inspectors may occasionally perform system installations and service calls. How you will do it Test and inspect fire alarm systems with existing and new customer base. Maintain proper documentation for work performed using tools provided Adhere to company safety policies and procedures while following verbal and written instructions. Carry/move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs Perform all tasks and duties in a safe and professional manner & maintain a clean and safe work area. Fire Alarm & Security Inspector II What we look for Required High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Driver’s License with good driving record NICET certification -or- ability to obtain within 8 months of hire Minimum of 1 year of previous similar experience with installation or service experience in testing and inspecting Fire Alarm Equipment. Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage Able and willing to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment. Able and willing to perform physical labor and lift up to 70 pounds. Basic computer skills – Microsoft (Excel, Word, Outlook) along with Smartphone skills Able and willing to work alternative shifts, including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends, to meet customer needs. Self-starter that can work with little or no supervision Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and the ability to learn quickly Excellent communication skills & ability to work well with others Able and willing to travel out of town if/when needed Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug test Commitment to safety guidelines and proc Preferred 2-3 years of previous similar experience NICET I certification NICET II certification National, State, and Local licenses HIRING HOURLY RANGE: $18.26 - $22.59 per hour. Requirements
