Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• NICET certification.
• Ability to obtain and retain any licenses required by National, State, and Local code.
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.
• Capable of performing physical labor (lifting up to 70 lbs).
• Able to work in challenging environments (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, etc.).
• Flexible schedule including on-call rotation, nights, and weekends.
• Willingness to travel out of town.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Commitment to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learning ability.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background and drug test.

Nice To Haves

• NICET II certification.
• NICET III certification.
• National, State, and Local licenses.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Alarm and Security Systems.
• Perform quality inspections while meeting customer expectations.
• Accurately discern and document deficiencies found during inspections.
• Professionally represent the company at all times.
• Complete service acknowledgements/inspections using laptops, smartphones, or hardcopy.
• Follow and maintain a highly structured inspection schedule.
• Make minor repairs and programming changes to systems being inspected.
• Complete assigned inspections on time.
• Perform other duties as directed.
