About The Position

As the Fire Alarm & Mass Notification Alternate Lead, you will perform routine and complex maintenance and repairs on various fire alarms systems and suppression equipment, e.g., wet sprinklers & kitchen extinguishing ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: The purpose of this position is to inspect, service, maintain, repair fire alarm and suppression systems. Identifies hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Shall develop and implement procedures to identify and prevent defective services from recurring. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements

• NICET Certified Level II Required
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in the Fire Protection/Life Safety Industry including: Experience in Fire Alarm & Suppression Field as Journeyman and/or Foreman.
• Extensive knowledge of various types of Sprinkler Systems (wet, kitchen extinguishing, etc.)
• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
• Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
• Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY
• Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar
• Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
• Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
• High level of knowledge & application of the National Fire Alarm Code and pertinent UFC codes.
• Must be thoroughly capable of reading, interpreting, and applying system design plans, as well as building construction drawings and documents.
• Ability and willingness to work independently and as a team member on all aspects of fire sprinkler systems, including maintenance, testing, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Maintain NICET Level II certification for Fire Alarm systems, Special Hazard systems and Inspection/Testing of Water Based Systems.
• Maintain NICET Level III certification for either Fire Alarms or Special Hazard systems.
• Must have and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

Nice To Haves

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering is highly desired.
• Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred)
