About The Position

The successful Fire Alarm Installation Foreman is responsible for overseeing the installation and completion of commercial fire alarm systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all applicable codes. This role includes hands-on installation, coordination with project management, supervision of field personnel, and collaboration with inspectors and clients.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED minimum
• Graduation from a vocational school or completion of an electrical/fire alarm apprenticeship program preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in construction specific tasks
• Two (2) years of leadership experience
• Working knowledge of Delaware State Fire Prevention Regulations (NFPA), the National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA standards, and other applicable codes and safety requirements
• Broad experience across all phases of fire alarm system installation, including rough-in, panel wiring, device layout, and final device installation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen with valid driver's license and good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• NICET Certification a plus
• Experience with Honeywell Notifier systems is highly desirable; experience with Honeywell Silent Knight, Honeywell Fire-Lite, and Potter systems is a plus
