About The Position

The Fire Alarm Field Supervisor at Impact Fire Services is responsible for managing the operations of the Fire Alarm Division, overseeing both technical and administrative personnel. This role focuses on achieving financial and operational goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of training and safety for the technical staff. The position is based in Morrisville/Raleigh, North Carolina, and reports directly to the General Manager.

Requirements

  • Possess necessary licensing and certification required by National, State, and Local codes.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related fire alarm experience.
  • NICET or equivalent training from manufacturers or institutions.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 72.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, and operational manuals.
  • Proficiency with PCs, including MS Excel/Word and iPhone/iPad apps.
  • Ability to work in unusual positions such as climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
  • Willingness to travel out of town, including overnight lodging.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Strong working knowledge of NFPA codes.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the operations of the Fire Alarm Division.
  • Develop financial and operational goals in collaboration with the General Manager and other managers.
  • Ensure the effective operation and efficiency of Fire Alarm personnel.
  • Establish productivity goals for technical and administrative staff.
  • Achieve assigned monthly goals for revenue and cost control.
  • Lead technical and administrative personnel in providing high customer service levels.
  • Ensure technical personnel are well-trained in services, products, and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable industry codes.
  • Protect the company's assets.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
