About The Position
The State of New Hampshire is seeking qualified candidates for part-time positions within the Fire Academy and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Training. These roles are essential for the delivery of training programs offered by the Division of Fire Standards and Training and EMS. The positions available include Program Technical Assistant, Staff Instructor, and Program Coordinator, each with distinct responsibilities and qualifications. The Program Technical Assistant will assist in the delivery of training programs, requiring a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience in fire or emergency medical services. The Staff Instructor will provide cognitive and psychomotor instruction, necessitating strong organizational and communication skills, along with a minimum of two years of experience in a related field and specific certifications. The Program Coordinator will oversee tasks associated with higher-level training programs, also requiring two years of experience and strong organizational skills. These positions are part-time, with starting salaries ranging from $19.96 to $37.22 per hour, depending on the role and experience. The roles are designed to support the training and development of future emergency responders, ensuring that they receive the necessary education and practical skills to perform effectively in their duties.
