Requirements

• High school diploma/GED preferred
• At least one year of experience working as a barista, bartender, and/or in food preparation preferred
• Ability to handle required tasks regarding cash handling and register operation
• Ability to learn all menu items and communicate food and beverage offerings
• Ability to sell, upsell, and take orders
• Ability to verbally communicate with guests and other associates
• Ability to memorize and become knowledgeable of menu items
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, friendly customer service
• Craft and deliver a variety of quality beverages consistently, including espresso drinks and cocktails
• Prepare and serve food to quality standards of the shop and health department
• Operate espresso machine, POS system, and other equipment professionally
• Assist customers in the selection and purchase of retail and menu offerings
• Maintain a clean, professional work environment
• Represent the vision and mission of Finley Farms and The Workshop
• Cultivate a sense of community by fostering customer relationships
• Assist with special events, such as birthday parties, wedding receptions, meetings, workshops, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned
