About The Position

To process castings from a molded to finished product for use by the end user.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Works in manner which demonstrates commitment to personal safety and that of others within the organization.
• Promotes safety awareness, accident prevention, and employee involvement regarding a safe work environment. Ensures employees understand the safety expectations of the organization.
• Promotes the company culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company.
• Run equipment to include an air grinder, overhead air host, chipping hammer and a fork-lift.
• Must have the ability to use hand tools to include hammer, punch and screwdriver.
• Uses computer or iPad to obtain and or input information
• Reads product print and follows BOM and routes information on production orders.
• Perform quality checks using gauges and may be required to use micrometers and calipers.
• May be required to process quality castings through CNC machines.
• May help problem solve issues with the machine setup, part issues or the CNC program on machines.
• Runs production parts at or above standard rates.
• Provides suggestion for improvement of all our systems.
