Finishing Technician (TES) - 1st Shift
About The Position
Join a team of professionals where you will be responsible for daily production flow in the finishing area, including our automated blast and mark systems. Come Build with Us: Understand and perform finishing process from a production level following required work instructions. This includes set-up and movement of parts through automated bead blast marking, and rust protect processes. Perform preventive maintenance and basic diagnostics on equipment and process. Keep required maintenance logs up to date. Report all deviations in equipment performance to employee’s direct supervisor, other shop supervisor, and/or Machine Maintenance personnel. Support and maintain overall shop efficiency by keeping work areas clean and safe. Verify finishing completion prior to packing and shipment of product. Cooperate and coordinate with other personnel for usage of shared shop equipment. Perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Good math skills.
- Basic understanding of MS Office: Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Attention to detail and follow through.
- Able to walk and stand for extended periods of time while performing duties.
- May be required to pass medical evaluation for respirator use and abide by requirements for wearing respiratory protection such as a Powered Air Purifying Respirator.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of fifty pounds in a safe manner and request assistance when needed.
