About The Position

Finishing Technician, I Job Description Summary Perform a variety of tasks in the finishing process of the blade.

Requirements

• Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull heavy objects.
• Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors.
• Ability to work with hands for an extended period.
• Ability to operate basic hand tools , power tools, and heavy machinery.
• Requires usage of respirator.

Nice To Haves

• High School Diploma/GED or related experience.
• Previous Manufacturing experience .

Responsibilities

• Grinding blade to work instruction specifications.
• Grind between quality marks and apply gelcoat to designated locations.
• Matting to give blades a clean finish.
• Painting and Sanding Apply tape to edge of blade to avoid overspray of gel coat.
• Apply auto mask to the shel l of the blade.
• Apply filler/mud to the lead edge of the blade, then scrape of excess so all voids are filled.
• Turn the blade utilizing machine .
• Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines .
• Maintain 5s standards.
