This role functions in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment and ensures safe, efficient, and high‑quality operations while leading employees performing physically demanding work in harsh conditions. Pay rate between $75,000 to $85,000. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned. Supervise and coordinate finishing operations and direct 15–20 hourly employees. Ensure employees understand and follow verbal and written instructions and procedures. Function effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking, and high‑pressure environment. Examine materials at various stages of the finishing process. Observe machinery and finishing operations for safety and efficiency. Interpret specifications and customer requirements. Adjust work procedures to improve productivity and quality. Resolve production and personnel issues. Maintain accurate time and production records. Ensure production levels are met while maintaining safety standards. Work closely with Maintenance and other Supervisors to ensure smooth operations. Ensure completion of all required employee training, including JSAs, safety talks, and Pure Safety. Conduct safety audits and enforce lockout/tagout procedures. Discipline hourly employees in accordance with company policies. Interpret and enforce safety regulations and company policies. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with applicable laws and organizational guidelines. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Experience in a heavy industrial environment (foundry, steel, manufacturing, or similar) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in high‑heat, harsh, and labor‑intensive conditions.
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proven leadership experience in supervising physically demanding operations.
  • Strong understanding of industrial safety practices and compliance requirements.
  • Strong computer skills and attention to detail.
