About The Position

McWane Ductile New Jersey is an industry leader in manufacturing water distribution and infrastructure products. Our location history starts in 1865 when Warren Foundry and Machine Company casted stoves, steam engines, mill gearing and other foundry related items. Currently we specialize in the casting of iron ductile pipes that range from 3" to 24" in diameter. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned. Able to comprehend verbal and written instructions and procedures. Capable of functioning under stressful situations and a multi-task environment. Accuracy and attention to detail. Problems are solved by the application of previously learned experiences. Able to prioritize work and meet project deadlines Examine material at various stages of production Observe machinery Interpret specifications Adjust work procedures Suggest changes in work conditions Resolve work problems Maintain time and production records Interpret specifications Adjust work procedures Suggest changes in work conditions Resolve work problems Maintain time and production records Ensure production levels are adequate Work closely with maintenance supervisors to ensure consistent production Direct supervise 15-20 employees Insuring training, JSA, Pure Safety, Safety Talks are completed daily, weekly, monthly. Safety Audits Lock out Tag out procedures Discipline of hourly staff Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations Supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization policies and applicable law.
