As our intern, you will be involved with Corning's Environmental Technologies (CET) segment which manufactures ceramic substrates and filter products for emissions control in mobile and stationary applications around the world. The purpose of our Intern Program is to raise the bar on talent by strengthening our pipeline for entry level roles for our immediate and future needs.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate Level Engineering program; preference for Material Science, Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
  • Working knowledge or experience with design of experiments (DOE) concepts.
  • Must be available for 10 weeks during Summer 2026 (May-August 2026) with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.
  • Be interested in working for Corning, Inc after graduation, if presented with a full-time job opportunity.
  • Be willing to work at the posted job location.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding or experience with ceramic products.
  • Basic understanding of ceramic processes.
  • Experience with Six Sigma DMAIC or similar principles.
  • Experience with JMP data analysis software.
