About The Position

Finishing Operator - 6 openings The BRP Marine Propulsion Systems facility in Spruce Pine, North Carolina is a full-service lost foam plant which uses innovative processes to create aluminum castings from polystyrene bead. We have a great workforce with employees who care for each other and the work that is done at our facility. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with basic operation of hand tools
  • Basic computer knowledge
  • Visual acuity to identify part incongruities
  • Self-motivated
  • Works well with others
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to effectively follow written and verbal processes

Responsibilities

  • Schedule attainment based on production needs
  • Producing quality parts as required by product specifications
  • Use of grinder and other tools to process various cast-aluminum parts
  • Finding defects in parts processed
  • Maintaining equipment
  • Following established safety rules
  • Identify and follow process sheets
  • Train new operators
  • Promote and model BRP values
