About The Position

Apply today to join our team as a Finishing Operator in our Flexographic Print Department! THE ROLE HOURS: On-the-job training will be conducted for this role, during 1st shift (7:30 am to 4 pm) for approximately 4-6 weeks prior to taking on a set schedule of 2pm - 10pm. Operator Rewind | Slitter Machine: Finish printed roles to customer specifications using a rewinder or a slitter machine. Removes and splices out any defects while using a strobe light to detect defects. Accurately completes paperwork and records daily production jobs. TEAMPLAYER: Do what it takes to get the job done and work as a team. Help other associates when asked.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven dedication in prior roles through longevity and consistent work history.
Attention to detail.
Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions, safety rules, and operating procedures.
Accurately use strobe light to detect defects.
Ability to use a calculator and basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA, NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street.
Ability to lift and move 60 pound rolls, average lifting is 40 pound rolls.
Frequent bending, stooping, twisting of lumbar, and squatting.
Standing or walking on cement floors and anti-fatigue mats continuously throughout the workday.
Frequently reaching below waist, horizontally, and below shoulder level.
Ability to feel and see defects on rolls.
Pushing / pulling cart of production weighing up to 500 pounds.
Must be authorized to work in the United States, and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen, physical assessments, audio, and color vision test.

Prior experience as a Finished Goods Associate, Production Associate, Cutter, or similar role, preferred, but not required.
