About The Position

Apply today to join our team as a Finishing Operator in our Flexographic Print Department! THE ROLE HOURS: On-the-job training will be conducted for this role, during 1st shift (7:30 am to 4 pm) for approximately 4-6 weeks prior to taking on a set schedule of 2pm - 10pm. Operator Rewind | Slitter Machine: Finish printed roles to customer specifications using a rewinder or a slitter machine. Removes and splices out any defects while using a strobe light to detect defects. Accurately completes paperwork and records daily production jobs. TEAMPLAYER: Do what it takes to get the job done and work as a team. Help other associates when asked.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven dedication in prior roles through longevity and consistent work history.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions, safety rules, and operating procedures.
  • Accurately use strobe light to detect defects.
  • Ability to use a calculator and basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • THIS ROLE IS ONSITE IN OMAHA, NE and requires the ability to work at our office at 132nd & L Street.
  • Ability to lift and move 60 pound rolls, average lifting is 40 pound rolls.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting of lumbar, and squatting.
  • Standing or walking on cement floors and anti-fatigue mats continuously throughout the workday.
  • Frequently reaching below waist, horizontally, and below shoulder level.
  • Ability to feel and see defects on rolls.
  • Pushing / pulling cart of production weighing up to 500 pounds.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States, and able to pass a criminal background check and drug/alcohol screen, physical assessments, audio, and color vision test.

  • Prior experience as a Finished Goods Associate, Production Associate, Cutter, or similar role, preferred, but not required.
