While reporting to the Supervisor, as the Finishing Operator, you will be responsible for meeting all safety requirements for operating equipment in assigned area, keeping equipment and work area in order, meeting quality standards, and working well with others to complete daily tasks.

Requirements

  • You have previous manufacturing experience and/or training
  • Read and comprehend standard work instructions, math and measuring
  • Arrive to work on time with a strong attendance record
  • An individual looking to advance with a high school diploma or GED
  • Work schedules are subject to change- The operation is 24/7.

Responsibilities

  • Meet all safety requirements for operating equipment in assigned area
  • Keep equipment and work area in order
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices
  • Meet quality standards established for the department
  • Work well with others to complete daily tasks
  • Wear protective gear when required
  • Participate in scheduled team meetings and contests
  • Attend all required safety training
  • Adhere to all Sonoco policies and procedures
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on teamwork
