About The Position
The Working Team Leader position at Precision Castparts Corp. in Douglas, Georgia, is designed to provide shift support in the areas of quality and productivity improvement. This is a hands-on role that involves training manufacturing associates, improving workmanship, and enhancing productivity. The leader will be responsible for cross-training associates, identifying opportunities for methods and documentation improvement, and performing audits to verify training effectiveness. Additionally, the role includes championing scrap and rework issues, assisting with administrative duties, maintaining product flow, and supporting the 6S program. The leader must be trained and certified to perform at least 50% of the operations in their area of responsibility.
