About The Position
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for sewing secondary backing together, as well as, operating the selvage bailer and adhesive pan.
Requirements
- Frequently required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, and hear
- Occasionally required to reach, handle, walk, and climb
- Must be able to lift 70 lbs ten (10) times per shift
- Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations
Responsibilities
- Sew rolls of backing together for continuous production
- Operate the bailer (selvage)
- Operate the secondary applicator
- Maintain viscosities for the applicator
- Give breaks for sew-on
