The company is looking for a mechanically inclined Finishing Assistant who takes ownership of technology to meet production goals. The ideal candidate is a "fixer" who wants to understand how machines work and takes pride in high-quality, "zero-defect" results.

Requirements

  • Education/Experience: High school diploma/GED OR 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong mechanical curiosity and the ability to measure close tolerances.
  • Reliability: A track record of dependability and a "Safety-First" mindset.
  • Agility: Ability to lift 50 lbs and flexibility to work overtime or shift priorities as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Machine Operation: Perform routine set-ups, changeovers, and monitor machine performance to ensure products meet exact specifications.
  • Problem Solving: Troubleshoot malfunctions to find root causes rather than "band-aid" fixes.
  • Data Integrity: Accurately record operating data and downtime using computer applications (MFG Pro).
  • Collaboration: Work with your team to improve safety, quality, and 5S standards.
