About The Position

Operates bench grinders, hand tools and other equipment to finish and protect parts. Essential duties and responsibilities are described below. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operates grinding equipment and wheelabrator to finish parts.
• Applies oils and other protective coatings as specified or instructed.
• Operates forklift to move pallets or containers of parts to various departments or areas of the shop.
• Checks grinding equipment for usability and safe operation.
• Cleans and maintains orderly work area.
• Follows company safety & security guidelines.
