About The Position

Spronk Brothers is seeking a Finisher Swine Technician to support our
wean‑to‑finish operations in Edgerton, MN. This role plays a crucial part in
maximizing productivity and ensuring top‑tier animal welfare through Pipestone’s
proven best management practices.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1+ year of livestock experience is a plus
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work for 8–10 hours/day
• Comfortable working in a rural agricultural environment
• Must work some weekends
• Reliable transportation required
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow protocols

• 1+ year of livestock experience

Responsibilities

• Follow established production protocols to drive efficiency
• Ensure all animals have proper feed and water
• Conduct daily observations and support exceptional animal husbandry
• Monitor animal welfare and environmental conditions
• Administer medications and vaccinations
• Safely move, sort, and load animals
• Record daily production data
• Complete general facility upkeep and routine maintenance
• Adhere strictly to biosecurity procedures
• Communicate daily with your supervisor on herd health and production
