About The Position

The Millwork finisher will work in all aspects of casework, millwork and specialty items with the ability to formulate and catalogue sample library as well as apply spray on stains, wipe on stains, finish and various opaque paints. Requirements

Woodwork finishing, minimum 2 yrs' experience.
Must be able to lift, pull, push, and carry 70 lbs. or more.
Ability to perform and train on all jobs.
Knowledge of formulating various finishes and procedures (stain, water based & oil formulas, polyurethane etc.).

Responsibilities

Follow all OSHA, EPA and ODH policies and procedures.
Follow all company and site-specific safety and health program policies.
Actively participate in accident/incident investigations when applicable.
Finish casework, millwork and specialty items.
Sand, stain, paint and finish. Maintain accurate finish formulas in organized systemic manner.
Provide and maintain staged finish submittals and library.
Maintain a running list of materials consumed on each project.
Maintain an awareness of and self-guidance where quality of your work is concerned.
Continuously develop self-knowledge pertaining to new methods, tools, standards, or practices related to the construction of the projects the role is assigned to.
Other duties as assigned.
