Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Effective communication skills, written and oral.
• Good math skills.
• Forklift license (must be able to obtain an E-ONE-issued forklift license).
• Recordkeeping abilities.
• Knowledge of and adherence to E-ONE safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Sand or grind parts or bevel edges in preparation for welding.
• Review material and production requirements and obtain necessary tools and materials.
• Blow off and wipe down components to remove grit, grease, and other foreign surfaces.
• Check cab, body, or component structure for defects and apply fillers as needed.
• Wire brush welds to remove smoke and grind excess weld beads.
• Remove doors or other components and place on work stand or fixture.
• Monitor the quality of work performed in assigned area of responsibility.
• Follow work standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
