Chandler Industries is expanding, and we’re looking for Finisher/General Assistant at our Wyoming, Minnesota location. First Shift: Monday–Friday (some flexibility with start/stop times) This position will be responsible for assisting the shop floor in ancillary operations including material preparation, product deburring, tumbling, washing, and packaging. In addition, they will assist in preventive maintenance of facilities and machines, as well as, general office cleaning. It's a great opportunity to start our career into manufacturing. Perform a variety of operations including de-burring, sanding, washing, tumbling, assembly and packaging and/or other operations required for completion of product, using mechanical and manual tools in a manner which will consistently meet production standards and quality requirements. Sweeps and cleans washrooms, shop areas and offices, removes refuse, mops, and scrubs floors. Performs cleaning and minor preventative maintenance on facilities and machines. Comply with safety rules including PPE and OSHA standards and report unsafe conditions to management. Maintains an organized, clean and safe environment and maintains 5 “S” standards. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • The ability to speak, read, and write English is required.
  • Must be able to follow standard safety procedures.
  • Must have positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
  • Must be able to understand and follow work direction.
  • Self-directed; ability to work independently and within teams.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Punctual and good attendance.
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
