The Finished Goods Operator applies technical knowledge of packaging materials and equipment to set up, operate, and troubleshoot the case erector, packer, and palletizing machines in a safe and efficient manner according to quality specification sheets, customer satisfaction and company policy. The Finished Goods Operator has the authority to place raw or finished product on hold if a quality attribute is not met. A strong candidate for this role will also be able to work successfully with various moving mechanical parts, food fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, and loud noise levels. This role works PM Shift (6PM-6AM) on a 2-2-3 schedule.

  • Set up, operate, and troubleshoot case erector, packer, and palletizing machines.
  • Ensure operations are conducted safely and efficiently according to quality specifications.
  • Place raw or finished product on hold if quality attributes are not met.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience working in manufacturing, food manufacturing strongly preferred.
  • Strong ability to operate a computer/technology.
  • Ability to work independently and with others.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate in basic English.
  • Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to analyze data and draw logical conclusions with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to bend often and lift at least 50 pounds to various heights.
  • Ability to operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (walkie-rider, forklift, etc.)
