About The Position

We're looking for a Finish Work Technician to join our Install team! As a Finish Work Technician for Esler Companies - Renewal by Andersen you'll be responsible for supporting with the structural framing and trim work on projects for residential and commercial properties in an efficient manner, promote job worksite safety, provide excellent customer service, and exhibit pride and quality workmanship.

Requirements

Highly motivated, self-driven, and detailed oriented.
Knowledge of residential, commercial construction and remodeling trades, practices, procedures, techniques, quality control, and cost control.
Maintain good attendance record as well as good punctuality.
Understands and adheres to company and safety polices, proper lifting techniques and heat stress.
Must be able to work with hand tools and gas-powered equipment properly, efficiently, and safely.
Basic knowledge of local city and state building codes.
If driving for the company, must have and maintain a valid state issued driver's license as well as clear driving record.
Ability to read prints.
3 or more years' experience as a framing or finish carpenter in residential or commercial brick and stucco applications; required.
Must be able to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Collaborative partner for the window and door installation process.
Practice efficient & safe demolition to minimally impact customers.
Provide Signature Service by working closely with the Lead Installer on each job site.
Preparation of window/doors and existing openings such as taping, caulking, and cleaning.
Exterior/Interior finish work on all products.
Other job duties as assigned.
