Demonstrate the ability to perform both loading and unloading of the Finish Washer in accordance with documented procedures. SAFETY: At all times follow established safety practices, 6S requirements, maintain accurate records, and perform other activities as required. Utilizing correct PPE, maintain wash chemistry within established process boundaries. QUALITY: Perform required quality checks and maintain accurate records of product characteristics as defined on the WIP tags and/or work instructions. Observe and report deviations from quality standards or issues relating to the operation of the washers to group leader and/or supervision. Document and maintain records relative to critical process variables in support of Quality system requirements and process validation protocols. DELIVERY: Perform a variety of activities and functions relating to the operation of the Finish washers. Perform inspection of product to various cosmetic and print specifications as outlined in established Quality procedures. Utilizing established SOP’s (product routing text, supervisory direction, and other documentation), ensure optimum loading and unloading configurations. Observe and report malfunctions or operating difficulties and take corrective actions as instructed by group leader and/or supervision. Perform material handling of raw material, work in process, and finished product in support of the washer operation. COST: Monitor washer up-time and rates (pph) required. Report deviations from standard to group leader and/or supervisor. Assist higher grade personnel with washer change overs as directed, always operating within established safety guidelines.
