About The Position

Under the direction of the Final Assembly Team Leader, the cell leader will direct and manage final assembly operations (Axles, Wiring, Sticker area) for 2nd shift Sumner, Texas PJ facility. This individual will maintain all safety, quality, and production standards, in accordance with company policies and procedures. Monday- Thursday from 3pm to 1:30am, OT Fridays and/or Saturdays as needed

Requirements

• 1-3 years production supervisor experience.
• Experience managing 5-15 employees.
• An employee in this position must focus on customers' expectations, prevent problems, and strive for continuous improvement resulting in improved results for themselves, customers and other employees.
• Must exercise continuous leadership to focus plant efforts on priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate final assembly activities with Team Leader to ensure 2nd shift final assemble objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner.
• Monitor performance for production and quality standards.
• Promotes a positive safety culture at all times.
• Provides direction and leadership to hourly personnel (Approximately 5-15 employees).
• Participation in Lean Manufacturing efforts & initiatives.
