About The Position

Moran Construction, Inc. is currently seeking experienced residential carpenters to join our restoration and remodeling team. If you have 5+ years of carpentry experience and you are hardworking and committed to excellence then you are the person we are looking for.

Requirements

• Must provide proven experience as a carpenter
• Must have an understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
• Must provide own hand tools
• Must be able to read tape measure with the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Reading and interpreting construction plans
• Ability to follow oral and written communication from supervisor, lead or co-worker
• Must be able to work independently or in a group
• Good physical condition and endurance

Responsibilities

• Rough framing and layout
• Ability to do customer mill/trim work
• Install doors, windows, various trims, crown etc.
• Meet basic remodeling skills; painting, drywall, tile, etc.
• Make necessary repairs or adjustments to assure quality
• Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards
• Assure proper housekeeping and organization
• Strive to meet team efficiencies for production without compromising quality
