Finish carpenters at AMCSI are responsible for construction in both residential and commercial arenas, focusing on the installation of various interior features and structures.

Requirements

• Proficiency in reading blueprints
• Ability to measure, cut and shape wood
• Critical thinking
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and plans
• Measure, cut, and shape lumber into multiple structural components
• Verify final work meets original specifications and is in compliance with building codes and regulations
• Install cabinets, countertops, doors and hardware, and millwork
• Maintain a clean, organized job site and dispose of waste material properly
• Troubleshoot any problems and make repairs or adjustments where needed
