Requirements

Individuals who work safely and have the courage to speak up if you see unsafe behavior or conditions.
Understand specifics of blade mechanicals.
Understand and adhere to the Personal Protection Equipment requirements.

Responsibilities

Safely operates blade to achieve the specified finish grade.
Reads grade stakes and works with grade checker, laser, or GPS to maintain grade.
Works closely with all crew members using hand signals to coordinate work and ensure safety.
Performs daily inspection and maintenance and ensures that machine is in safe, proper working order including fluid checks and proper lubrication.
Reports to shop when equipment needs maintenance and repair.
Keeps equipment clean and prepares equipment for transport on flatbed when needed.
Maintains orderliness, cleanliness and safety at job site.
Follows Supervisors instructions closely.
