About The Position

The Fine Wine Associate is responsible for receiving and accurately inventorying inbound deliveries, maintaining accurate inventories of client wines, assisting clients when they visit their storage locker, conducting pickups and making deliveries within prescribed deadlines, and representing the UOVO Wine brand. In addition, the associate will manage the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, participate in daily warehouse projects, actively engage as a member of the Operations Team, and perform other duties as assigned.

Ability and willingness to drive and make deliveries
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Be able to pass the Federal DOT physical and obtain a Federal DOT driver's license (if applicable)
1 - 3 years warehouse experience

Prior experience with wine products
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Experience with computers, especially with Microsoft Office 365
Experience with shipping and logistics
Experience with a pallet jack
Experience with a hand truck
Experience with a forklift
Experience with an order picker
2 years of Wine Industry experience preferred
Forklift certification preferred (but will be provided if necessary)
Order Picker experience preferred (but will be provided if necessary)

Responsibilities

Record inbounds accurately into the correct database on a daily basis
Inventory client's wines as requested or required
Conduct pick and pull requests and prepare wines/cases for pickup or shipping as needed
Manage and reconcile client inventories accurately within the agreed upon timeframe
Consolidate inventories as needed
Conduct inventory audits to resolve discrepancies as needed
Move, organize, build and break down shipping pallets as needed
Put together shipping cases as needed
Assist with offsite pickups, deliveries, and installations
Perform offsite activities in client cellars, outside locations and other storage facilities
Greet visitors and accept warehouse deliveries from UPS/FedEx and common carriers
Operate forklifts, order picker, and pallet jacks
Prepare, label and organize outgoing boxes/pallets with shipping labels
Track, manage and prepare inbound/outbound shipments when needed
Keep the warehouse organized and cleaned on a daily basis
Ensure the security of the property before departure on a daily basis
Function and participate as a Team member in meetings and special projects
Perform other related duties as assigned
