About The Position

As a Fine Jewelry Supervisor at JCPenney, you will supervise and engage a team of Fine Jewelry associates to deliver an amazing shopping experience that delights customers and creates loyalty. You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales, leading the sales floor, supervising staff, and scheduling to ensure adequate coverage. Your role will also involve dynamic leadership and consistent execution of sales-driving elements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years retail experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Models and holds team accountable for outstanding customer service
  • Actively listens to customer issues to resolve problems
  • Maximizes sales and service by ensuring staff is scheduled appropriately
  • Drives planning and execution of events and credit card acquisition
  • Challenges yourself and the team to drive profitable sales growth
  • Coaches and develops team by modeling JCPenney's company values
  • Provides direction and support to ensure efficient merchandise flow
  • Maintains stock levels and presentation standards
  • Partners with store management to source and hire talent
  • Plays an active role in training and development of associates
