About The Position
Branch's Civil Division is searching for an experienced and safety-oriented Fine Grade Motor Operator to join our well-established, growing company. The Fine Grade Motor Operator operates a self-propelled motor grader and, from stakes and lines, cuts sub-grade; performs other fine-grade operations, requiring considerable experience and a high degree of skill.
Requirements
- Knowledge of construction techniques
- 1 to 3 years of fine grade motor operating experience
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations
- Fine Grade GPS/UTS Motor Grader Experience
Nice To Haves
- DOT experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- May oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment
- Scraping and leveling dirt on roadway
- Spreading and mixing materials on roadway
- Shaping and blading subgrades
- Balancing and rough shaping base course materials
- Fine grading and dressing of shoulders and slopes
- Routine cleaning of equipment and work area
- May perform other related duties
