About The Position

The Fine Dining Hostess will be responsible for providing service to Dukes Steakhouse in a manner which ensures excellent customer service and a professional environment resulting in increased customer loyalty.

Requirements

Highschool diploma/GED.
Must comply with all health codes and regulations.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Knowledge of casino environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.

Nice To Haves

Previous fine dining experience preferred.
Thorough knowledge of wine preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, responsive and professional guest service.
Build positive rapport with guests when escorting them to their table.
Accommodate guest requests regarding seating.
Manage seating rotations for each section.
Highlight wine promotions.
Communicate guest needs to leadership regarding celebrations such as anniversaries or birthday and other special occasions.
Communicate guest concerns or compliments to leadership.
Evaluate the flow of business and then staff accordingly.
Make guest reservations and maintain current reservations within procedural guidelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
