About The Position

Mix and serve alcoholic beverages and/or non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures. Follows all operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations and departmental policies and procedures. Accurately handling various forms of cash transactions, decision-making, problem solving, complaint resolution, and customer service. Ensures appearance of bar and lounge are maintained in a clean and functional manner. Demonstrates an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty. Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies/procedures, and internal control protocols. Promotes outstanding customer relations. Performs other related duties as may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical school or formal apprenticeship may be required.
• Requires knowledge and skills needed to safely prepare and serve alcoholic beverages in accordance with internal policies and external regulations and/or laws.
• Requires the knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, liquor dispensing systems, cash, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable in food and beverage sanitation, guest service, cash control policies, practices, and protocols.
• Must be able to work effectively with peers, staff members, and regulatory agency personnel.
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.
• Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory
