About The Position

Who We Are Looking For The Client Onboarding function within State Street Markets plays a critical role in supporting the organization’s objectives. This position serves as a strategic partner to the Financing Solutions team by overseeing the onboarding process for Lending counterparties and clients, managing client inquiries, and coordinating legal negotiations. Requirements

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of related experience, preferably in the financial services sector.
  • Advanced Excel skills strongly preferred.
  • Effective team player with adaptability to change.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong ownership mentality, with a commitment to seeing client issues through to resolution

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with State Street Markets clients to gather necessary information for account onboarding.
  • Entering onboarding data into the designated system and managing requests throughout the entire onboarding lifecycle.
  • Managing and resolving client queries and escalations effectively and transparently.
  • Facilitating the completion of contractual documentation.
  • Coordinating communication between Client Service, Onboarding and internal teams to ensure timely account activation.
  • Working closely with operations, AML/KYC, legal, and risk departments to align client requirements with State Street’s internal policies.
  • Providing regular updates on client onboarding progress to Financing Solutions relationship managers and informing them of any relevant issues or developments.
